Anne is a Renaissance woman, interested in the ocean, writing, drawing, and reading.  Her passion is gemstones, rocks, and jewelry.  She has a bachelor’s degree in nursing with experience working with dying children, Viet Nam vets, and residents of long term care facilities.  She spent time as a parent advocate for children with learning problems, wrote a column in her neighborhood newspaper, led support groups for parents of children with Tourette Syndrome, was the first membership chair person for the Children’s Museum, served on the state board of the Learning Disabilities Association, and held numerous other volunteer positions in the community.

Anne was raised in a Navy family, attending twelve schools, living in such places as Key West, Florida and the Marshall Islands.
